This film explores the layered nature of identity, community, and creative expression. As artists, we often experience deep confidence matched with deep insecurity, fear of perception matched with complete release of inhibition, and an immense range of emotions that come from creating art that is meant to be shared, and creating art just for ourselves.
The Fyfe Collective Vol. 1 opens a conversation on these topics by personifying them in movement and costume. Every element of this film is deliberate and curated to showcase these sentiments in a way that is not only reflects my own personal vision, but the unified vision of the collective as we grow into our individual artistic identities.

MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR
As a multidisciplinary artist and creative, I never felt comfortable confining myself to a single medium. Over the course of my life, I’ve immersed myself in music, performance, dance, choreography, songwriting, fashion, modeling, aesthetic curation, and project management. This film is an exploration of how these forms intersect, and a reflection on how they inform, elevate, and expand one another.
My priority as Director of this project was to create an authentic space and opportunity for emerging artists to engage with the full spectrum of their creative identities, and to encourage the ongoing exploration of what it means to use all corners of our creative expressions when telling a story.
